Is this a symptom of a N75 valve going bad?

So my car was in limp mode for a while then I played with my charged pipe to see if anything was loose, everything seemed sturdy I didn't really do anything. Then I took it for a spin and the car boosted past limp mode and went up to 15lbs I was happy and thought my car was fixed but noticed when I floor it, it goes up to 15 for a second then gradually goes down in pressure to like 10lbs maybe less. I searched to see if anyone else had this problem and it seems like boost issues are caused a lot by the N75 going bad but the problems people were having was it spiking then dropping in pressure than spiking again so I'm not sure if this applies to my situation too.

Will changing my N75 valve fix this problem? or at least a good place to start?

when i bought my car i noticed that it couldn't hold steady pressure whenever i boosted. The needle on my boost gauge would wave back and forth between 10 and 15 psi and i could definitely feel it surging pretty bad. i replaced the stock n75 with the n75h from 034 and now i spike at 17 and hold 15 psi. No more surging at all. It's a relatively cheap part and its easy to replace, i would start with a new n75 and see if that helps before you start spending a lot of money to find the problem

Yeah I noticed everyone who had that problem of surging back and forth in pressure had a N75 that went bad but that's why I made this thread because my car spikes to 15 then steadily drops down and doesn't rise.

no CEL's ... kind of wish I did have one so I could pin point the problem easier lol

I just ordered a new N75 valve and Pressure regulator valve from ecs so hopefully the n75 fixes it

Do you hold the boost to redline? In a higher gear so do you hit 15 and then spike cause I do the same thing

I think you may be right...I did my K04 myself and I remember after I was done I wasn't sure if I tighten down the hose that comes out the wastegate
I should probably check those hoses out while I'm putting in the N75 since I bought it anyway....going to be a pain to get my fingers in there

Ok so I replaced my N75 tighted up all the hoses and put in a new PVC Valve....yet my car still spikes to 15 then gradually drops still =[

I think it's a boost leak from one of my pipes but I did a boost leak test a couple of weeks ago and they didn't hear anything
