Definately liked the last reason. Where I grew up the cops wasted all their time trying to bust dirtbike riders in the desert rather than trying to stop gang activity in the community.

Ive heard that internet petitions are not taken seriously due to the fact that it would be easily to hack it and post multiple signatures. But I still signed it

I recommend doing in person paper petitions, and bring them to stuff like C&C as well as colleges.

Yeah, I signed too but I think that for a petition to be legal, you must have actual signatures with a printed name below it. In addition to that, you have to have an address for each person so that it can be verified that they are a registered voter.

I can't really see how an online petition is going to work but what the heck, it's worth a shot. I still remember the time my brother's Jetta got totalled on the freeway by a stupid SUV (who incidentally drove away - they never caught the guy) and one of the cops who arrived on the scene actually gave my bro a ticket for not having a front license plate while he was standing next to his busted car. What a dick.
