It looks really good. Good quality for a wrap and nice job.

Idk about the CF/Tan interior mix, but hey, whatever you like. Nice mod!

should have at least used the fake CF fabric, looks real. the vinyl around your sifter looks like theres a line almost as if the width wasnt big enough and you had to use 2 pieces? not feeling the cutout marks around the quattro badge either.

two thumbs up on effort, doesnt look too bad, might look better with black interior

Re: My new custom trim kit

I had aluminum trim before but it was damaged by the lasts owner dog on the drivers door and the shifter plate, the clear coat was going off. I'm not a fan of CF but I think it looks better than before, interior looks more sober.

BTW, On the shifter plate, I had to use to slides because it was only 6" large. On the picture you can really notice it but in real it's not really that noticeable. It was because of the flash.

If you like it then great, I'm not really feeling the fake carbon fiber but that's just my 2 cents.

Anyhow, I can always redo it because it's not clued with super glue... Very easy to clean it back up to stock. I'll have to see if it grows on me. I find it looks a we bit similar to the RS4 one.

Yeah, you are right the RS4 has a darker color trim and a whole black interior. I must be one of the rare to like the beige interior. Yeah, it does get dirty faster but I find it looks really classy, especially at night with the ambient lights. Anyhow, maybe next summer I'll paint the trims Piano Black.

    BTW, My car has Beige interior. Stupid flash! Heres a better pic;

Re: My new custom trim kit

It looks good but, i've used this stuff before and it always looked soo cheep. I don't know if you've seen any of my CF threads but, i've been wrapping my interior trim in real CF. Anyway, I use Crystal Clear Krylon and the more coats i put on the deeper the CF looks. Anyway, just a suggestion to your project to make it appear mor realistic. Tray spraying the clear coat on them and see how it looks!

Yeah 'm beige too and absolutely love it. When I first bought the car I was a little put off by the beige but I learned to love it! Details stand out so much better and it looks much more classy IMO.

Re: My new custom trim kit

i love tan interiors, but i don't think audi has done it right. firstly, the color tone that they selected is a bit... bland. it needs to be more saturated, and then that darker dash cover looks a bit off. if they had done it black like BMW, it would look great

but back to the original thread lol, a far better wrapping job than most fake cf tapes... it looks good! except for a bit of crinkling i can see in discreet places haha

Re: My new custom trim kit

^ i disagree. i like that in the beige interior Audi uses a dark beige tone for the dashboard, top of the door panels, and shift knob/boot. it gives a nice tone difference between the lighter beige used on the seats and the rest of the interior.

that is actually what higher end BMWs have. the 7 series uses a light and dark beige tone mix just like the A4. BMWs cheaper models, like the 3 series above, use the black dash. I think a black dash looks off in a beige interior. My guess is its a cost cutting method. I'm glad Audi didn't skimp on that for the A4.

Re: My new custom trim kit

props for doing it but: i think it doesnt match the rest of the interior, looks cheap (no depth like real CF) and you can see its just a stickon with all the edges and cutouts. No go IMO. my friend put some on his truck and it looks like shit.. but to each his own
