by the way, thats just a dusting. here in chicago we have gotten 2 feet so far in the season. we usually get 1 foot for the entire season.

the garage is 10' 6". So there needs to be a short car on top of the lift to fit another below it. We had to change the track of the garage door so that it raises all the way to the ceiling rather than straight back to make room for the lift.

Good call, that is a 2003 E320 Sport. And yes, I know it wasnt much snow at all. We used to commonly get storms that would bring about 4-5 inches but over the past few years I'd say the average snow fall per storm has only been about 1-2 inches. I guess we can blame global warming for that

We've gotten more than that, not sure how much but it's been a crazy winter! Tomorrow and Thursday are looking pretty crazy too.

Do you know the model information for the lift? Looks pretty slick.

The lift is a Backyard Buddy 4 Post with a 7,000 lb capacity. It's a bit more expensive than other 4 post lifts but has a few more saftey features (locks on all 4 posts rather than just one or two) and is made of thicker steel. Here's the general link:

Not really, if you look at the Earth's average temp over time (geologic time so millions of years) it is cyclic, that is why there is ice ages and non-ice ages. In increments of 30 years or less you can see some real steep trends that would lead you too believe the earth will surely light on fire and some trends that would lead you to believe the earth is going to turn into one giant Popsicle.
That being said I wish it snowed more so I could get the new snowboard deck out and do donuts all damn day.

I thought about it... but I think it's too much. The B7 has other stuff goin on in the back such as the aluminum piece under the trunk lid. Mine would be too much black. If I had the stock A4 lights I would have, but I like the look of the ones that are on there.
