Is this labor fair?

$270 for tranny mount

$270 for rotors and brakes all 4 corners

$270 to install just a tranny mount? And FYI the TIP tranny requires TWO tranny mounts

To install the two motor mounts, two tranny mounts, and the snub mount from the 034 "deal" should be no more than 2 hours, shop hourly rates of course will vary. More than $200 bucks, tell them no thanks

For rotors, pads, lines, and fluid I (we) charge 30min per corner

rotors and pads are not too hard of a job to DIY, as i did mine with little mechanical skill...

changing the brakes involves.... taking off the wheels, calipers, carriers, rotor, brake lines (bleeding brake lines...?), and everything again in reverse order. no?

^yeah everything but the brake lines, and no bleeding required (unless you wanted to change the calipers)

As for why i want rotors done at a shop - its because its too frigging cold in NY to do it outside - anyone wanan suggest where to get this done in NY?

where in NY? Forest hills - if u wanna do it i'll pm u ... u can probably do the mounts too - pm me if ur serious will wait for u

my dad's mechanically trained to do it - but its just cold / time it takes to do it haha
