nah i really like that spoiler. idk why but it looks good imo... but get rid of that wood trim dude. otherwise thats a sexy car

I actually like it. It's change from the same stuff everyone else has. If it was Zebrano, it would have been gone a LONG time ago, but I've grown used to it and actually like it. Most people tell me not to get rid of it because it's a color you don't see all too often.

Love it! New wheels are a great improvement, big fan of the yellow calipers (B7 is a rare car that can pull off OEM calipers in a bright color). The stance is also perfect. This is also the first time the Votex lip has look right to me, maybe it b/c of the stance/wheels?

I'm also one of the few that appreciates wood kits, and that color is so unusual it really stands out. Al has been ruined in my eyes by so many lesser cars now using it in their interiors. And CF looks cool but IMO should be reserved for cars that actually use it in their construction. ("Hey look, my trim is light & stronger than yours!!)

I never have "bash"ed VMR.
I said you get what you pay for when it comes to wheels.
At least they're not Rs4 reps. If they peel or flake he can just get them
powder coated.

that looks great, nice upgrade! fills out the wheel well a lot better, IMO. Love the BBS CHs though, just love the look of the 19's with that drop.

the wheels look great (apparently we have to be careful how we support and "bash" around here) and I like the interior as well. I also think the spoiler is big enough to grab your attention but not large enough to be an eye-sore.. I think the calipers are a great color, but only if they're on an equally flashy setup, say.. with larger and/or drilled rotors. The stance looks great too!

i'm just wondering though, if anybody knows wheels that are like the 710s without the deep concavity in the middle, somehting closer to a flat front finish.

the twin spokes on the rs4s are too close together, and i feel like the BBS RGRs are the next best thing but they're so damn expensive and the 8 twin-spokes seems way busier than these 7 twin-spokes, i dunno why.

Not big on roof spoilers for sedans. IMHO, they are best reserved for Avants. I haven't seen too many on sedans that I like. I could've gone OEM for the spoiler. Me and a couple buddies debated that one for a while, but I decided I didn't like the break up of the OEM 3-piece on the trunk.

As for the calipers, I painted them black from the OEM silver because I had to grind them to fit the CO's on before I got spacers. Then, when I went to the VMR's, we debated again...this time what color to go with. Red is so cliche, even though it does look good on many cars. Both my friends suggested yellow. They said it would pull off nicely with the white and would be a refreshing change from what everyone else does. They were NOT, I repeat NOT, done to imitate Porsche. In then end, I really like to yellow and intend to stick with it for a while.

After looking at the car for a year and a half with those 18's they started to really get on my nerves. I was sick of the body-too-big/rims-too-small look the car had. I wanted a change, but i didn't have the $$$ for RS-GT's, which is what I really wanted. I think the VMR's were a good compromise. To me they look and feel pretty good quality, but time will tell on that one.

I think what you are looking for the HRE's that these things are knocked off of. They don't have the concavity the 710's do, but, yes, they are much $$$ too.


BTW, thank you all for the compliments and the criticisms. I always say (within reason) to each his own...it's good to see that others disagree with what I've done with it. Along with that criticism typically comes good ideas for the future.

I have 19" RGRs if your interested....and the HRE monoblocks are what they copied but those are concave too

Thanks for the offer, but I'm tapped out right now.... I looked at RGR's too, i think they're a pretty sick rim. The HRE is concave but, like I said, not to the degree these are.
