Def not a "build" thread.....but an exhaust is a "project"......this thread just doesn't follow the standard format that others have.....so it might get moved....but regardless, thats a nice exhaust setup

I no you guys live close and were also quick to jump the gun. but i was just trying to share. i have seen you driving around may not have seen me? w.e i just wanted opinions nothing else... so i guess that ^^^^ was my intro lol i have many projects anyway.

this is my build thread im 19 btw and have no money so mine may go a little slow at the start so forgive me.

As for the Lotus its a europa it my dads project he has MANY!!!!!
it has a 2.3 turbo ford for out of a Merkur XR4ti

he plans on 400hp++ and ~1100lbs you do the math

did the turn down so it wouldn't melt the bumper (bad experience) straight out looked RICE

Yea I know what you mean. If money came easy, i would have an rs4, r8, twin turbos on both of those, and some superchargers just slapped in the engine bay too. IMO, I dont think this goes into the "project/build" thread either, if so, then im sure there would be no point to have this "designated" build section.

Moved to the A4 main forum. I posted a rules sticky at the top of this forum for a reason. This sub-forum is specifically for established projects that serve as inspiration to others. And yes, I'm quite picky about what goes into the forum I created.

My car has a lot more work than yours and it still doesn't merit a build thread. Not even close. Before you dump on guys like Bassed and A4Rob you might want to look at their build threads and note the level they have taken it to. Just because a house has a second floor doesn't merit calling it a penthouse. You picking up what I'm laying down here?

I love Europas. Even though they look like funny little trucks they are great track cars and are often seen at VSCDA race days.

yeah no doubt the straight out exhaust looks rice, i especially hate when they have 2 tips like all the nice exhausts, yours looks sooooo much better

I like turn down tips when its hidden. There was a thread on the vortex where the guy plastic welded the exhaust cutout on the rear valance and smoothed it out and texture painted it. Then hid a turn down tip off the muffler behind it. I thought that was very trick and creative. Bassed has a single outlet pipe on his exhaust and it looks fine.
