    Watch this:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zhlp5rk1Zw

It's top gear's review of the R8. Jeremy Clarkson (the host who drives the car) is 6'5" and he says at one point during the review that he has a lot of headroom.

I don't know what you consider tall and large, but I'm 6'2" about 235lbs and I fit with A LOT of extra room, even with the back rest all the way vertical. A customer of mine is 6'7" and with the seat all the way down and all the way back, he was able to fit as well.

    Re: interior space

It's WAY bigger inside than a boxter... shoot it's bigger than a 911 inside! My problem with the 911 is that the seats are really narrow (as with the boxster), and even though my waist is a 36, I sit on top of the seats rather than in them. The R8 is worlds more comfortable than either car... with my seat where I like it there's probably a good 2 inches between my head and the headliner.
