No abs, esp and brake light on... troubleshooting

I know the abs in my car is out. I ran vag and it came up with rear right wheel sensor error.

What is the easiest way to check the sensor and does the computer ever say its a sensor and it ends up being a abs module?

I know people have had issues with these abs modules.

BTW it happened after it was extremly snowy around here.

When my module went I got a p1606 rough road condition, or something along those lines. I also couldn't scan with the car on, only with it off. I would try to replace the wheel sensor first if I were you.
