Pulled the trigger 09 with Meteor Gray on black, prem plus with sport package!!

So after months of debate I finally did it, I should be picking it up late tomorrow or the next day. I kind of wanted the B and O sound system but with the car already being almost 40 grand just could not justify, the Nav and back up cam would have been cool but oh well.

I paid 1000 under invoice, is this a good deal compared with what everyone else is seeing?

it was right around 38 I think, with tax and dealer fee the total was 39000

that's pretty good. lucky youy . the car i want, they only have 1 in the state. They wont do invoice for me and other dealers cant get it either. this dealer who has it wont do it since it is very rare in the state. T_T

I couldn't get invoice either. Oh well, I'm happy enough with the agreed-upon price. I'm just not happy that Audi is not giving competitive financing.

That seems pretty good to me. I got invoice on a ordered Avant. The salespeople were surprised the general manager gave it to us at that price. Crappy part was waiting 4 months.

MSRP should be $39,450 and invoice is $36,700.

Not saying you didn't get under invoice, but based on what you said, it doesn't sound accurate, unless my numbers are off.

Awesome, but I don't quite understand how people can get invoice or below invoice prices from the dealerships. From what I've read, Audi doesn't give holdbacks to the dealership. So where else is the dealership making a profit? Dealer fee?

Actually I talked to a few dealers, and 3 of them are willing to do under invoice but they cant get the car I want. One of them actually offered me 1k under invoice but it was only for Jan 2. After that, they couldnt do it anymore. The other dealers can still do around 500 under invoice but they cannot get the car I want. You should pm AUDITOPGUN, he gave me a good quote but too bad he couldnt get me the car.

Your numbers are correct but you have to add this little thing in America we call sales tax:) So the total came to just over 39grand.

The car has 15 Miles brand new no demo, when I pick the car up I will get some pictures. I still had the pay the 500 Dealer fee, plus audi care package that is where they make some money.

I know car sales in general are down, but if they offer invoice or under invoice they're losing money unless there are other kick-backs from the manufacturer. Obviously there is something that I'm missing here.\

Yes I am sure. MSRP was 43275 and invoice was 40989. they said they could do 1k under 40989 and one of the dealer quoted me 500 and the the other 600.

I mean you're spending already blowing that much money and you're worried about spending a few more grand? The car I want (S-Line, monza silver) was available without NAV. A couple of different dealerships told me that S-Lines are "sold orders only" in the western US, meaning they're all spoken for. I'm not sure how long the wait would be if I were to order one, but I have a road trip coming up in April and don't want to drive my old piece of chit B6. I'd like NAV for the neato-factor but can do without it. I'll use my portable Garmin instead (I currently use it about three or four times per year when leaving the area).

What exactly does "MMI" do for me? Yes i dont have nav which is a ripoff at 2500 or whatever it is. B and O is nice, i had the premium bose on my 03 a4 but i can prolly spend less on an aftermarket sound system that will sound better.

Plus all 09 do have the visual interface.

I heard some garmins are better than the audi nav anyway. all i would care about in that package would be the camera.

Yes that is primarily correct, for now the SLine option cars are all pre-sold. It would take ~4 months from time of order to delivery. The upside is you could order it with MT6 if you wanted to. PM me if you like Misano Red.

OP, $1k under invoice is an incredibly good deal especially for a Sport package car. Did you buy it prior to 1/5? If not, then the dealer lost money on the deal. Must be your market I guess. Although if they make too my deals like this one they won't be around for very long.
