Probably just a coil pack. If the CEL was blinking, that means significant misfires. Regardless, I wouldn't drive any further. Do a few tests, by removing coil packs one at a time, while the engine is running, to find out if that's your problem.

I wouldn't drive if I were you. You have too much to risk.

Re: In a bind right now. Need help. Asap

you will damage the catalytic converter if you run on a misfiring cylinder because raw fuel will dump straight into the cat.

What you COULD do is find out which is the bad coiplack (#2) and just unplug its corresponding injector. I have done that before.

just dont hit boost. How far do you have to drive? 5,10,20 or like 50 miles?

edit** if you have a test pipe (no cats) than just cruise

Re: In a bind right now. Need help. Asap

I wouldn't suggest driving, esp if it's blinking, you'll get gas in your cats. This happened to my s4 and I would suggest just replacing all the coils b/c if one or two go bad, the others will too. Not sure how many your ride has, but it isn't a big deal to just replace them all.

Re: In a bind right now. Need help. Asap

Pull the coilpacks like I said earlier. That's how you find out for sure. Whichever one doesn't have any impact on the misfiring motor is the bad one.

Cylinder 2, from the one closest to you, should be the second one out.

In this order if you are watching over the engine bay with the hood open:

    BATTERY

    4
    3
    2
    1

    RADIATOR
