    Re: Headlight Question

well those are made for 2 piece setups as you have noticed. Pretty sure they don't have anything like that in a 1 piece headlight.. Why do you want them neways? stockers are not good enough for you?

Yeah, I noticed. Thought there may be a way to work it out. The stocks are alright, but I do not want to do the DIY clear corners, and I am unable to find any legit (non crap brand) one piece clears. Any suggestions on one pieces manufactured by a decent company that I am unaware of?

    3rd from the bottom.

I ordered smoked corners from them and they were DEPO, not sure what brand those are. Their customer service is great, email them if you have any concerns.

    Re: Headlight Question

^^what he said. you dont want to downgrade from oem projectors. if your worried about messing up your stock headlights by clearcornering them, find someone in your area who'd be willing to do it, or even just read through a few diy's to get comfortable. the worst that happens is you screw up (and the cc mod is really pretty easy you wont screw it up) and you buy new headlights anyways. if youre worried about drilling your lights, try the b6 diy where you put the lights in the oven on low heat for a few minutes to losen some of the glue and pull them apart

Yeah, I would say get a set of e-codes or find someone parting out a car that has been clear cornered. The DIY for it is so damn easy, just need some patience. The ones in the link 3rd from the bottom aren't to pricey and look good.

Do you know anywhere that sells the Valeo e-codes? Has anyone purchased the set from Importvision (3rd from bottom)? Also, how are the Helix ones from Parts4Euro?

    Re: Headlight Question

    lltek has valeo ecodes
    http://lltek.com/lighting_a4_b5_ecode_99501.htm

I got depo's from carparts-online.de, i like them, I broke them, but it was my fault, the headlights seem like they are made pretty good but i cant compare them to valeos as ive never seen them. I hope for the price that they are better. mine were about 200 with shipping.

Im looking to get american style one pieces now that i broke my ecodes, sorry to thread jack but can someone tell me if the american ones have the circle connector from the car to the headlight like the pre facelifts do or if they have the rectangle one like the ecodes. didnt think it was worth making a new thread for this question
