I'm looking at picking up some Menzerna polishes but have a question. Should i got with this kit -

    http://www.autogeek.net/ceramic-polish-kit.html

    or

    http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-intro-kit.html

I'm going to be using this on a 2004 A4 so i'm not sure if i need to pay extra for the ceramic polishes. I know the PO106FA (nano) and PO85U (final) have slightly different cuts but other then that is the non-ceramic polishes still good enough for what i'm going to do?

I'm going to use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 what are your guys experience with this i've read nothing but good reviews. Would you recommend using a coat of wax on top of the sealant?

it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish though. what kind of machine/pads are you planning on using?

My car is black so i'm trying to remove all swirl marks and light scratches. I will be using a Porter 7424 and CCS pads (orange, white, black) might use a yellow CCS on a few spots.

The kit you referenced on detailersdomain.com is the one i linked above i would go with detailersdomain.com and use the 10% code but i want to buy some other products as well and they don't offer them, going to use autogeek.

So no comments on the big differences between the ceramic and non-ceramic polishes?

    Re: Menzerna

The differences is one has micro-abrasives specifically milled for cermic clear coats.. other polishes that aren't "ceramiclear" polishes.. well, don't. The micro abrasives in all Menzerna products are milled for ceramic clears but also employ diminishing abrazives.. which mean the more you work them, the finer they get. So this means they can be used on no ceramic clears, with still outstanding results. Unlike some other polishes for ceramic clears that don't have diminishing abrasives.

    That's the main difference.

Ok you guys convinced me i'm going with the SIP and NANO . I'm waiting until the spring because Oregon has crap weather until April. I will post before and after pictures. Under the halogens the paint looks horrible right now. Detailing has now become my obsession i've been reading every tutorial and post i run across and to think i've only been using some soap and water and a little wax and thinking the car looked good
