Snapped a shot of the shiftstyle boot my girlfriend got me for Christmas... It matches the JHM knob I have perfect, I went with black alcantara and red stitching as you can see . Love the quality of the boot super easy to install, looks great.

I would take a shot of the knob and boot together but my camera is not the greatest, the flash makes the knob look white not black so its not even worth it!

So your Mikes neighbor with the sneaky FMIC. Whats up?

    Mike, 2 things.

    1. Why the red stitching? Matching the cluster illumination color?
    2. How's the shift knob?

Red stitching because I'm eventually getting carbon fiber trim, figure it would match... Also, it matches the knob, I got Blk Delrin with Red 6 Sp. pattern

The knob is great, highly recommend it. It makes shifting a breeze. If you have slightt notchiness between shifts this is the cure.

    Re: Shiftstyle Boot

I'm looking for a boot replacement and was thinking possibly that, but I'm afraid the alcantara will look out of place. I've got your same setup, white leather and wood (soon to be carbon fiber), but my shift knob is air soft RS4. Do you think it would look terribly out of place with black alcantara with white stiching? Can you take some further out pics so we can get a feeling for how it flows with the atmosphere of the interior?

sure thing, when I get home today around 3 I'll snap a shot for you and update this thread... It flows very well I think... I got it especially because I plan on getting CF trim, I think once with CF trim especially around the shifter surround it will really set the interior off.. Once you have the alcantara in there the leather stock kinda looks so blah.

How does it make shifting better? And how does it compare to the stock knob (weight, feel, ect.)?
