They are the same except Stasis presets them and adds a plastic ring to help with adjusting.

I live where roads are terrible and there are a lot of steep entry ways, how high can these sit? I have sport suspension and I wouldnt want to drop my car more than a cm in the back (but the front could use some droppage), but would appreciate any ride/handling improvements.

What kind of ride quality do you get out of these?

You'll get a smooth yet firm ride, when adjusted to your preference. I've driven a few audis that have had different adjustments, thus smooth or firm ride is acheived.

2.5" approximately- we can get these pretty low, but its not recommended.

for the price the koni's. SSS' do use koni's as well, but are custom to their specs. WE can get you SSS' as well if you'd like, but thats another post- Please pm if interested.

With a bad back, will these be too jarring? I would like the lower my roll center, but not at the expense my comfort.
Not sure which way to turn, except to the expensive Bilsteins, which wont happen at their price.

I like Koni, and I like this price, but don't want to end up hating them at every pothole.

A search for "softest coilover" or "soft coilover" returned only one thread in the b7 group. Hardly beaten to death from a noobs point of view.

Every brand out there seems to have the owner saying "My brand is the greatest" with little or no direct comparison between them. Makes reviewing possibilities very difficult.

Here I have a Koni rep, who may have more meaningful answers as well as others input. I'm borderline wanting these at this price but nervous that I will ruin the type ride I want, which is quite different than some street racers interpretation of a good ride.

Can you like me to threads that talk about these as a comfortable ride?

When talking about performance upgrades like a suspension, members never use the words "soft" because it demeans the quality of the upgrade. If you want a comfortable ride with coilovers, these and the streetsports are basically your only options in my opinion (for under $1400). You get high performance and the spring rates are higher and the ride gets stiffer.
