o2 sensor CEL again, DAMN THIS SENSOR!

so replaced bank2 with an old o2 sensor from my CASA, and now im getting
bank2 s1, no activity
bank2 s2, no acitivity
bank2 probe heating blah blah blah, no working, what do you guys think it is, i put in a crappy o2 sensor in the driver side, and its bouching it up for me. when i clear the codes and drive the code doesnt come back, but when i turn the car off the code comes back, some quick help would be much appreciated.

Did you splice in the O2 sensor or use the whole unit with the plug and all from your other car? Also check the recieving end of the harness. (where the O2 plugs into) I had a bad wire there on mine, caused all kinds of weird stuff. If you spliced make sure connections are sound, i lnow this is a no brainer but other than that what can it be the ECU? or a bad sensor?

I used the whole unit, so I didn't splice, buying a universal and splicing into it tomorrow. But don't see how that would make 3 codes say there is no activity

yeah, i'm confused also.

Lets start from the beginning.

What sensors were faulty? What did you replace them with? Why are you splicing?

I got a universal one spliced that and put that in the passenger side, then I realized that I fixed the wrong one, so I had a CEL for bank 2 still on which I found out was driver side, and I went to swap that o2 sensor with a sensor from my Casa s4, put that sensor on and now I have the codes mentioned above, so there is no splicing or anything on drver side (bank2) sensor. What would cause all 3 bank 2 sensors to crap, do you thnk the o2 isn't tightened enough or that it's bad and somehow cause the other 2 to throw CELs. When I clear the codes and drive around the cel doesn't come on, but when I shut her down and crank her back on she throws the cel again

Bank 2=Driver Side.

S1= Primary upstream O2.

My computer isn't liking the purems website, but I would assume if it's just another picture of a front(primary) O2 sensor, then it's the same.

That one is more then the others, AND it looks to be the same as the JHM.

One may be a Bosch while the other is OEM? I don't know, call or email them I guess.

That's confusing, I should say the genuine VW/Audi part, not OEM.

I would assume they both work the same though. Eh. JHM sells quality products. Ill probably just go with them.
