retrofit question

before i buy the auto leveling adapting headlamps from oemplus i wanna know if there is a DIY for the auto leveling part. i know how to do the headlights but not the other part.

you can, but it is very very hard, I have only read about 1 person doing it before. Its possible, but there is no diy for it.

not sure how much of a diy-er you are, but from the look of it, it's not an easy plug and play operation. you do have to set some stuff up with both the front and rear suspension, so that it levels when you go up/down hill, etc.

overall consensus...not worth it? i retrofitted oem HIDs already but i thought the adaptive would just be the next level.

I answer your question, by asking do you think it's worth it? I have done mods that others are like why. If you feel that feature is necessary than go for it.
I just retrofitted the wiper stalk for trip control and fuel, I thought it was worth it, others might not.

It's sweet when you are turning and your lights turn with you. You are also one step closer to color dis, if you wanted to upgrade.

Hmmm thats a good point. I might just go ahead and do it but its just too bad there is no write up so Im going at it blind. How did you retrofit the stalk, did you have to VAG it so you get the mpg and such on the display? Also how is adaptive lights a step closer to color DIS?
