i got a flat tire and put back my 5 spoke oem wheel back on. but i couldnt take off the 15mm spacer off of the old cracked wheel. so now im driving with only one spacers in rear. it drives fine, i actually drove for 400 miles like that. but the steering wheel is a bit messed up. its not shaking or anything, just not straight anymore :(
so is it ok to drive like that for a bit?

    Re: spacer + differential

    Wheel is aluminum.

    Spacer is most likely aluminum.

Oxide was formed and the two are now 'welded' together. Get a rubber mallet and give the spacer a few good hits and it'll come off the wheel.

You might prematurely wear your tires down seeing as one side in the rear is sitting closer to the hub and the other side is sitting further away. This changes the handling characteristics of your sedan. I would try to drive as little as possible to avoid excessive tire wear and unsafe handling of the vehicle.

like i said car drives FINE, feels smooth, just the steering wheel is looking on a left more than it should be.

    Re: spacer + differential

when you reinstall use some anti-sieze between the hub, spacer, and wheel.
