18" BBS RGR fit on B7?

I'm trying to decide what 18" wheels to get. I did a little search on here and found that 18" BBS RGR with ET35 will not fit in the front without spacers. Then I looked up BBS USA's application guide and Tire Rack, both of which suggest they will fit on B7. What's the verdict?

    18x8.5 ET35 is a perfect fit for a B7

I read that and don't know what is up with his setup but a 18x8.5 ET35 RGR will clear your setup.

I have a stock 17" 17x8 ET35 A6 wheel and it clears my BBK caliper.

    As far as I know 5x112 RGR's come in 18x8 not 8.5. I am running 17x8 et35 with B7 S4 front brakes on my B7 A4.

One of the guys at AWE has 18" RGR's. John, I believe. Give him a call and ask. I'm pretty sure he had stock brakes. They looked awesome

Re: 18" BBS RGR fit on B7?

My B7 A4 3.2L is causing me grief as it has the large FWD calipers and I'm hoping to change over to a set of BBS RY 17 x 8" 35et wheels. To clear the calipers, it looks like it'll require a 15mm spacer which, combined with a 35 offset, has the wheels poking out too far. I've heard that the calipers can be ground down somewhat - how much?
    Advice appreciated.
