    GAUGES GONE WILD! HELP! pleeeease

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I just got my b5 a4 that ive been looking to get for a while. Pretty much stock... just lowered. A lot of services have been done to it. But anyways...

My gauges were registering that my car was over heating!
My oil temp was at 195 or lower. But my water temp was maxed out.

It wasnt over heating at all... my gas gauge is stuck on full as well. It will show me the right amount when it feels like it though. So my over heat light is always blinking at me but I never have any problems. I have the temp sensor replaced... but Im still in the same shit storm. What could it be? maybe a loose wire?
Should I just buy a new cluster?

I dont want to have to take it in to the audi dealer. They charge an arm and a leg just to diagnose shit...

someone help me. Ive always been a euro guy... Im new to audis though.

    Much appreciated!

sounds like the cluster is bad. which sucks because those are expensive as fuck and they can only be bought at the dealership.

Instead of the dealer you should try shokan.com they specialize in used audi parts, email them what you are looking for with their online form and they will usually hit you back pretty quickly with a dollar amount.

Piggy Pipes --- CC Mod --- Darintake --- Samco TBB
