Turn Signals keep on going out?! + (new member pics)

Well recently my mom picked up an 05 Brilliant Black USP. I love the car myself and am pretty jealous. Its been a couple weeks since she has had it and the turn signal says it is out. I went to replace the front parking passenger side light and after a day, it said it was out again? And then a couple days later, it says one on the front and now the rear are out. Is this a general problem with the B6? And how can it be solved? Something just doesnt seem right. I searched but didnt really find anything.

Sounds like a poor connection at the bulb, or the wrong bulb.

I've had a similar issue...from the front turn signals...marker lights to the rear tail lights. Like has been stated, most likely a bad connection. I just had to remove the bulb clean up the connectors (@ bulb and housing) with a wire brush and put some electrical connector gel in there. I had 3 bulbs that needed this. I acutally just started having issues with my front pass turn again after doing the cleaning some 30k ago....but I'm sure it only needs cleaned again as if I tap on the housing it comes back on.

my jetta did this. It seems like every bulb decided to go out in the matter of 3 weeks at about 70k miles. It should be ok after you change them all. lol

It's most likely the connectors. Seem to be a common problem with B6 turn light bulbs.

Just logged in here to post the same exact problem.... Front passenger turn signal, left rear light and right rear light, all out within a matter of a month. I really couldn't believe it was a dirty connection issue seeing as they all went out so close together. I will clean up and report back.
