    skidplate failure

It appears the skidplate fasteners have all failed--considering there was one left keeping it attached. One out of the three in the front of my 02 A6 was still on, the two on each side near the wheel wells were missing, and the ones up underneath (behind the engine)there was nothing. Not sure how many there should be back there.. There are no cracks in the plate it just does not have any fasteners . Is there a better aftermarket fix(homedepot) nuts/bolts or should I purchase oem stuff. I have a feeling it will fail again
    Thanks

    Re: skidplate failure

I have a new "ECS Ultimate belly pan fastner kit" that I never used because the fiberglass support in the front of my car is broken. PM me if you're interested.

I would just get the OEM bolts. They don't really come out when you put them in right. They Lock into place, and are like $3 a piece.
