    Hey LED headlight DIY people

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
B6-er here, but anyhow, any of you who are doing LED DIY's on your headlights, I've got a relay/resistor set up that has passed some testing with flying colors that will dim your LED when the headlights turn on. Kind of OE-like.

Here is a quick video on the test bench. I have left them on at both bright and dim for over 3 hours each and the relay/resistor barely gets warm.
If interested in how to do it, PM me. It's a $10 mod. I haven't done it on those flexible strip things, but I'd assume it works the say way, albeit with a different resistor. This set up is 13 single LED's.

Re: Hey LED headlight DIY people

Thanks. Just to clarify, because Nate thought I was charging $$. What I meant that is to source the relays and resistors to do the dimming mod is about $10. Not "pay me $10 and I'll do it for you". The DIY is free for the asking.

And as of late, I wouldn't trust anything Pens, lol. They're sucking. Oh, well, they had their chance, but Detroit was and still is just off-the-hook. At least we had a nice win over then this year. I'm trying to find a Hossa winter classic jersey from last year and this year. That'd be pretty cool to have both Hossa jerseys from the outside game. Even though he wasn't with the Pens yet, I've seen the blue third jersey with his name on it.
