Looking for a fun car for under 50k

Its actually for my brother. He wanted the caymen S, but it seems to be a little bit about of his price range. he is looking to spend under 50,000$.

Can anyone think of anything good?

C6 Corvette C5 Z06 'Vette, S4, used RS4, 335i, 135i, used C63 AMG, M3, there are a lot of different cars that can be had in that price range.

Does he want a new car? Any particular brands he doesn't like? A lot of small stuff like that would help

He doesnt want a DD or anything that is good in the snow because we have that kind of vehicle for him when he is home. It would basically be a weekend driver. I am assuming he wants German and prolly a coupe. He likes porsches and would consider used if it was a CPO.

It wouldn't be a CPO, but a 993TT would get your bro some instant Porschephile cred. Or you could get a CPO Cayman S - there is an active Cayman Club in the tristate.

The cayman is a nice choice... Really....

However if he can get over people saying to not get a corvette, get a CPO Zo6 in his price range... GM is really trying to get rid of the vettes... And they are just amazing cars...

It depends on if he wants a little luxury or all out performance...

IMHO, it would be a tough call for me between the two. However I think the vette would edge out the cayman.

winner right there. thats a less than 20K car with goo miles, and that leaves 30K to mod the hell out of it. IRS for good turning, and a big bore V8 for go fast, looks nice, rides as nice as my A4, and is made in australia so it has great safety ratings and desnt hve the poor domestic quality. 6.0 GTO + headers, exhaust, turbo/supercharger, tune, and cam = 700+ HP for ~35 g's total including price of car
