Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
i bought my s4 a few months ago and it has a apr stealth exhaust, i like the low sound that it has but i like the srt, it is possible to convert the stealth to the srt with maybe replacing one of the resonators with a straight pipe to make it a srt. or any other ideas that could help..

    thanks alot

im having the same problem, i want something louder and more aggressive. One thing that may wrk is to replace the mufler with a borla or similar.

the there are 2 muffs, and i said it wrong, the srt exhaust eliminates one of them with a side resonator or somtething like that. i figured just take the middle muff out and put in just a straight piece of stainless steel tubing in place of it?

    Re: Apr Stealth to srt??

If your running catless DP's with your current catback exhaust then I would warn you against putting a straight pipe on, becuase it will then be much louder than most find suitable for daily driving. I have SSA catless DP's with AWE twin1 which consisits of 1 muffler and 1 interchangable section, either a straight pipe section or a resonated section, I think the resonated section a little more suitable for me. But if your running cats you might be alright with the straight pipe.

    Re: Apr Stealth to srt??

i asked APR about this.. they said to remove the rear muffler and keep the center one for a louder sound.. if you remove the rear muffler it will drone like crazy

as far as cats i'm still stock downpipes with my APR stealth and i'm going catless piggies soon and then if its loud enough good.. if its not loud enough i'll remove the rear muffler
