So I noticed I had a flat tire (yay) and while trying to inspect it I turned the car on, and rolled it forwards about a foot to check the rest of the tire. (car started fine idled fine and I turned it off almost immediately) Well I go and get some fix-a-flat because I can't see any punctures or blow out in the tire (almost brand new tires )
Fix-a-flat says to have the valve stem at 4-8 o clock, so I try to turn the car back on to roll it forwards a little more, and all I get is fuel pump noise and maybe one or two fires. WTF. Car only has about 1/4 tank of gas because I'm a moron and it's been freezing almost every day, and isn't supposed to warm up any time soon. So for now I put in some dry gas and am waiting for the temperature to reach a whopping 16 degrees so I can try again. Oh and my car is still sitting on the rim because you have to drive after filling the tire, and I'm not about to use the widow maker on the icy parking lot.
Anybody ever start their car without a problem, and then have the pump s a d on start-up about half an hour later in cold weather?
