    Check Engine & Almost Stalling

    Go to get in the S4 today, start it up and really rough idle (it's snowing). The car idles at 1,200rpm but as the engine heats and rpms drop idle gets really rough. Check engine comes on and car almost stalls when it hits 800rpm.

    Sound familiar to anyone?

    My car did that too with full throttle problems on top of that, but the rough idle would go away when the car warmed up so ya got me whats up with your car. My car had bad EGT's

    could be a major boost leak. Check your hoses and do a pressure test with soapy water.

    check that code, it will more than likely point you in a good direction...

    It sounds like a boost leak, that or some pretty bad misfiring... What does the idle hold in vacuum on the boost gauge?
