Well i searched the site but i didn't see you guys have an introduction thread. Well I just purchased a 2003 a4 1.8t fwd in December after totaling my celica. Car had few problems when purchased, had to buy dipstick and dipstick holder. Some how i guess previous owner broke it. Then I know the car had some kind of water/coolant leak. Fixed that today which i guess was coolant flange on the back on the motor which was pretty fun to do but seemed to stop the leak. Only other problems i believe i have left to fix is a passenger side cv boot which i just saw was ripped while working on the car today and I guess some kinda of valves that seem to be on the intake system that cost $52.00 from the dealer that i doubt i'm going to fix any time soon maybe you guys know a cheaper route and another part that connects on the intake pipe that came apart today, looks kinda like the valves but some how doesn't click back together or anything. I'll try to take pics of it maybe you guys can help me with part name. Well i guess i'll shut my mouth know, seems to be a long ass intro thread, just excited to found a forum where people actually reply and interact. I had joined audi-forums and audiforums and on one of them they never even replied on my intro thread. I just met a neighbor today with a pretty modified a4 that told me about site.
