    I am getting ready to switch my stock lines for SS lines. When switching the lines. I was curious if there is a lot of fluid loss.

    I have been told just to do it real fast but want to get the zines opinion.

    so pull and swap before too much fluid and air gets in?

    As long as you leave the cap on the brake reservoir, you won't lose to much fluid. I recommend topping off the fluid first and after every line you replace. This will minimize the chance of running it dry. Then bleed/flush the system afterward with new fluid.

    Sounds good that is what I am planning on doing. thanks for the reminder to add fluid after each line. Since im adding new lines and brakes i will be swapping our flushing out for some some super blue over stock.

    Yep if you leave it open it'll drip until its dry. If you have a small piece of rubber tubing (like a 2" vacuum hose) you can put a small bolt in one end and stick it on the flared hard tube to keep almost all the fluid from dripping out.

    Super Blue had a shitload of problems with the B5 S4 master cylinder. I have no idea if this is the case with the B6, but I recommend Motul instead. Or Typ200.... just in case.
