    Quick question for CC mod.

Is it illegal to leave the clear bulbs in? I bought amber bulbs at my local auto shop just in case but i wanted to make sure. Also, for those of you who have done this mod, is there any advice you can give me for painting the housing black? I am scared of moisture getting into my headlight after I break the seal... I read the how to do's but I want more info. Thanks everybody!

you can add some silicon when you put them back together if you are worried, but you should be fine with the original sealant

ya i have heard many ppl say that if you heat up the original sealant only enough so you can peel it off and keep all the sealant on the 2 sides that seal it should be good.

Im pretty sure DOT everywhere requires you to have an amber color for turn signals/hazards. so leaving a clear bulb would be illegal.

you should just get a chromium bulb that lights up amber but looks silver when its not lit up. save yourself from giving them a reason to pull you over.
