    inner fender question

    going to be lowering my a4 this month with vogtlands and gonna be buying some rs4 reps from vmr as some stocks and im wondering if anyone trims or even removes their inner fenders. i plan on riding as low as possible meaning no fender gap on 19x8.5s. any info or pictures is appreciated.

    not unless 100% nescessary, but what some people do is...

    on the center of the top of the inner fender liner, right on the outside edge, theres a part (looks like ar ubber tab) that is on the outside of the fender. Some people remove that and tuck it up under the fender.

    ^ yup, and remove the torx screw where that tab thing is.

    You should be fine unless you really slam the car. With my last car, I ended up rubbing only once in a while when I'd hit bumps so I really didn't care. Some people don't mind rubbing at all, some want none... I guess figure out how low you want it and you'll do what you have to do

    You should be ok by bending up the tab after removing the screw. You should use a heat gun just in case.

    yea i will. its gonna be a few weeks im going to do suspension, sway and brakes all at the same time cuz im using the lift at my job on an off day. the wheels will be shortly after when tax money rolls in....

    i took out the screw and rolled my front fenders. i just borrowed my friends fender roller and it was all good after that
