Ok so i lost my one of my two keys and i don't wanna spend the 250 bucks or what ever it is, at the stearlership to get a new one. I know its like 70 bucks to get it programed and cut but will these work for my car or is it just a scam?

I'd use the second one as an emergency key.

    Re: Is this legit?

Yes they will work, but the first one is a little expensive. I just bought one for my 04 TT from Ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWN:IT&ih=001 for $28 shipped. Looked new and worked great, easy to reprogram. Just remember that the one key you have left has the immobilizer chip in it, so don't lose it, it is the only way you can reprogram your push button remote manually. You will have to take an un-cut key to an AUDI dealer, but make sure that the immobilzer chip is "virgin" and can be programmed, otherwise the un-cut key is junk.

no immobilizer. take it to VW or a locksmith that cuts keys. don't pay more than 10 bucks to get it cut and program it yourself.

Most places charge up to $25. Just ask the locksmith if they have a Sidewinder with the clamps to cut "HAA" keys.
