So i'm looking to start the mods on my 2003 A4 1.8t quattro with a chip. First of all I'm thinking i wanna do a Giac chip from what I've been reading, i like the idea of the lower end torque but what giac chip? I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what chip to get, and if anyone could point me in the right direction of where to get a chip in the eastern carolina area? thank you in advance

What part of NC are you in. It's a BIG state.

I have a GIAC in my Avant. It doesn't make as much torque as the Avant in my TT, and the Revo would be my preference for torque.

There is a shop near Asheville, and several in Knoxville/Johnson City if you're WAY west, but I know little else about the state.

The Spartans do not enquire how many enemy there are. They enquire only where they are.

In NC we have a Unitronic, Apr, revo and myself doing custom software all in the triangle(raleigh, durham, chapel hill). I was a GIAC dealer in the past but am not any more. I have heard that there is a new GIAC dealer coming down east though if you want to go that route.
