b7 rs4 oem exhaust fitment

hey guys i was trying to find some info about this but came up short wud a b7 rs4 exhaust fit a b6 s4 reason asking i gots my hands on one and i would like to know if it did thanks fellas

i know it doesn't fit an A4, and the S4 is the same underneath as an A4 so i don't believe it will fit.

yeah but thats a ridiculous jump in logic. The A4 can be a 4 cylinder, which means it DEFINITELY wouldn't accommodate a true dual exhaust. Both the S4 and RS4 are V8s, so i wouldn't rule it out. Sorry I cant be of more help.

The RS4 uses the same body shell as both A4 and S4 - so in terms of fitting around the body it should fit.

However, to fit the RS4 exhaust to an S4 would need the downpipes to be in the same position and the same diameter - that's what needs checking.
