I personally wouldn't worry about the resale. If you love Imola yellow, then buy it.

I think Imola cars are an easy sell. The color is gorgeous and rare. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

They are rare. It might take a little longer to sell, but you will get more for the car in the long run.

I love Imola - my second favorite color after Moro. Buy the car for yourself, not the next guy.....

    Someone will want it... eventually.

Buy what you like, enjoy it, and someone down the road will have your same taste.

Re: How hard/easy is it to re-sell IMOLA yellow cars

I agree with all the comments above! I own one and unfortuantely I'm selling it due to the fact I need a bigger car (kids). I knew it would take a bit more time to sell but who cares. I love it ever day I drive it and I'm in no rush. Someone will find it and love the color just like I do.

Re: How hard/easy is it to re-sell IMOLA yellow cars

I'd buy one in a heartbeat....don't think it effects the resale that much. A yellow RS4 is kind of like a Red ferrari....it can definitely get away with it!

Re: How hard/easy is it to re-sell IMOLA yellow cars

check my poll on colors...I think 6% were Imola

this means that only 6% of buyers wanted Imola, so it's not for the masses. With that being said, whoever wants one is going to have to sniff out an Imola somewhere, so I don't think it should be a problem. It won't likely command a premium/discount. It will however require a little extra patience due to lack of liquidity.

Re: How hard/easy is it to re-sell IMOLA yellow cars

FWIW, I was researching RS4's and one dealer had 5 in stock. They were discounting the Imola the most, $1k more than the Phantom & Mugello. The salesperson said that, historically, for them, it was the hardest sale. Ask for a bigger discount on the car.
