    2.8/S4 Shocks/Springs??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Alright, I've already decided on s4 shocks and I have them. Bought them from someone on the zine

NOW, Since there are only about 100k miles on them, I have faith that when I lower it, the shocks won't fail like I was worried about with my stock shocks. Decided NAY on coilovers and bilstein shocks. Saved about $500.

So with my heavy bitch (2.8 30V) and S4 stock shocks, which springs do I go with?

Ride quality's very good, though it doesn't go as low as some other kits out there.

I don't like "slammed" cars, so Eibach Pro suits me.
I have them on my car, in conjunction with Bilstein Sport dampers (yellow).

dont get anything that will claim to lower it 1.5 or less. Because it just isnt low enough on our stock 4x4 cars. I regret 100% not getting race springs. fuck vogtland.

Shocks with 100k miles on them are already way overdone. Way past their useful life.

Pshhh mine have a 135k miles on them and work like new. And I a have driven 40k miles A4's before. Also +1 to Kronic Vogtland sport springs were just not low enough.

the reason stock struts fail more then the sport ones would have more to do with the shaft length then the age of the strut.
