I dont know what type of spyware and anti-virus everyone runs but everytime I go on AZ now I get these warning about the same ad....I was wondering if anyone has the same issue or is it just my TREND MICRO anti-virus...

It is normally pretty good at finding spyware ads on sites..below is the ad links the spyware to. Maybe admin should look in to it or am I a isolated incident on this issue ?

    Re: AZ Ad issues

Luckily I happened to come across this. Moving to a more appropriate forum. As you can see it's a Google ad, which is all we run on the forums other than our Official Advertiser banners. Google is quite good with quality control and we've never had a case with spyware or virus's with/through them.

    Re: AZ Ad issues

the ads are causing my anti-virus/spy ware to recognize the ads as double click spyware ads and tells me to shut down the browser.

I already solved the problem with ad block plus :-)

    Re: AZ Ad issues

its trend micro, its good stuff. less heavy on the system then Norton. I just added the image extensions to the block list so now they don't even show and my anti virus doesn't go nuts over the double click ads.

    Re: AZ Ad issues

Well the google ads aren't the same as the doubleclick issues so trend micro is confusing the two (i think). Google ads shouldn't be a problem on any system because they don't interfere. He is a review of trend micro 2008 and tells about some issues it commonly has: http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/produ...008_3user.html

Anyways, I'm glad you got it fixed.
