I predict this thread will be a nice read, with ZERO chance of it going down in flames.

Re: Stealership is not as bad as Tyrol Motorosport

That sux man lots of Shady shops all over, people are out there to make money any way they possibly can, take it to the dealer and finish, and tell them they lied to u about the $90 and tell ur credit card it was an UNAUTHORIZED charge and they'll drop it. No reason for u to pay something that u did not want to pay for.

wow that does suck. fuckin scammers man. sounds like a shop just out to make money and not giving a fuck about the customers. i actually just heard a crazy story about a bodyshop from my buddy. said he posted it on here but i dont know where it is. classic autobody in salem MA ftl btw.

heres a link for those in the area: http://nsda-1.com/forum/index.php?to...;boardseen#new

nothing i hate more than bullshit shops. theyre the reason noone trusts people in the automotive business.

That's a bummer man. You probably should have consulted with Tyrol before posting this. They fucked you over though, so they obviously deserved the flaming. As a business owner myself, I'm pretty sure they would have taken care of you if you brought this up to the management, especially for only $90.

    Ren-

I'm glad we were able to resolve the simple miscommunication with a short phone call. I hope that people take the time to read through the whole thread, as opposed to just reading your first post. Unfortunately the thread title will remain up and give us negative press for no real reason other than what appears to be a language barrier between two individuals. We look forward to resolving the issue with your car in the future.

Best bet on sourcing the parts is probably Carson@Riverside Audi, as he can get the parts to NYC in one day with regular shipping.

I edited the title for you. No need for negative press if there is no reason

Thank you very much. It is nice to see that the mods are here to make sure that both enthusiasts and shops get treated with the utmost fairness. Working together in a positive fashion always results in the best outcome for all parties involved.

I'm glad this threat has been edited...Mike and the crew at Tyrol are awesome. I've extension work done there (rs6 turbos, rods, suspension, etc) and I have NOTHING negative to say. They're the best in the tri-state area- enough said
