    DDM 5000k HID Kit

Ok, so I have the vvme 4300k and have no problems with it, and I like it. However I got the hoen xenonmatch fogs and they are closer to 6000k than 4300. I was wondering if anyone has pics of 5000k hid's? This seems to be a lesser picked output, but since 4300 puts out more light, but 6000 is whiter/bluer, i figure 5000 should be pretty sweet. So if you have pics i would appreciate it because i'm thinking about getting the DDM kit.

It's not from DDM, but this is also 5000K. Headlights are E-code projectors with 5000K HID. Fogs are 2500K. IMHO, 5000K is perfect white light. 6000K is too much blue and 4200K is too much yellow.

Thanks man! That looks great! I think 5000k is probably the perfect fit for color and light output.

    I agree. 35w 5000k. 55w 6000k.

California has some strange plate numbers, should have tried getting a 5 in place of that 4.

Also, that pic looks pretty accurate to me, but keep in mind pictures can be a bit deceiving when it comes to light.

I have a 5000k 55w kit and it is perfect white (in my opinion). It is not a DDM kit (I have Retro-Solution), but have no complaints. You could always just get 5000k bulbs and use your existing ballasts.

    Re: DDM 5000k HID Kit

I was leaning toward just getting bulbs, but for $30 more why not get ballasts with a lifetime warranty. I appreciate the help, I think I will order it tom. I just want something different to kinda stand out since a lot of cars now come with hid's. The only thing is that i saw a b6 in person with 6000k and it was sweet, but I read that the light output is visually different by some, but others say it isn't.
