how much is it worth?

well my car was recently stolen and got smashed in the front and passanger side. since i only have liability, its a total lost and i have the car in my garage. now the question is should i part out or buy another a4 and transfer everything over. that all depends on how much i can get part for. its off a 98.

so the questions is about how much i can expect to get:

ko4 pc16 kit, 310 red top injectors, afr and gauge. have no shalf play at all and i only push it once a while. have about 20k miles on it over 2 half years. awetuning sells the kit for $2g w/o the afr and gauge

vogland springs and bilstien shocks. have little over 35k mile on it.

what colors the interior?

Personally, the only way I could see buying another a4 and transferring stuff over was if I had A LOT of money in the car or big plans for a build. Otherwise I would just part it and sell the rest as a rolling chassis and move on. That AEB motor is going to be worth some money.

i was hoping i can get a bit more for the af parts, but i m leaning towards selling everything. it is such a hassle to own a a4 in jersey. f ing thieves love them. the detective said my car was found as a hit and run on the side of the hw along w another stolen a4. n the 1st time they almost stole my car was in the mall lot. i have to chase them off and guess what they were driving a a4 also off course stolen too.
what do you guys think about jettas?

If you are willing to put in some time, effort, and money, and maybe know the right people too, there are ways to make it impossible for the average thief to start it. They would need a tow truck to take it (like happened to docurley). Not much is going to stop someone with a crane and a flatbed but you can certainly prevent the smash and grab type and even the ones with master keys.
