    Exclamation HELP!!!

Does anyone have the pin/bolt that holds the calipers in place??? I busted one of the two. It is the hex bolt, there are two. I need it for stock 2000 a4 1.8 brakes. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ONE!!! I will gladly pay you for it. Audi only sells entire calipers, not the individual bolts.
I'm a dog chasing cars, I wouldnt know what to do with one if I caught it.

    Re: HELP!!!

my advice would be take the good bolt that you have, head to a hardware store and get one that fits. Make sure its METRIC and its an ALLEN head. Trying to find a used one off of someone is going to be just about impossible.

Audi should have these, they aren't part of the caliper, they are part of the caliper mounting brackets. If the first audi guy can't help you, ask for someone else... damn monkeys working at these places these days :)

    good luck

    Re: HELP!!!

Audi will sell just the bolts. I bought them from a dealer last spring. If they say they don't have them, they're lying to you.

how much of it is exposed? you can use a bolt out, or a reverse drill bit. if its enough even some vice-grips

    Re: HELP!!!

drill out the bolt using a small bit and work your way up but dont drill off the threads and then use a tap and die kit..
