IPOD adapter cable

I walked into Best Buy to pick this up and they looked at me like I was speaking Mandarin. I showed them the picture...nothing, nada, zip, zilch.

Did you guys order this or can you pick it up somewhere other than the stealership?

um... they're supposed to be free from the dealer. call them and demand them give it to you.

and they're most likely audi specific... because it's called Audi Multimedia Interface so you will only get it online or the dealer.

And you are assuming all dealers are the same and would actually "give" you something.

i don't see why you would have to pay for something that comes with the car... that's like floor mats! considering we have the interface in the car, why should we spend another $65 on a cable?

^ hes right its worked into the price of the music interface! $65 for the cable $235 for the interface = Audi music interface.

Gotta love the direct quotes! Thanks Rocco. I will call them today and demand my cable based on your quote...maybe I'll ask nicely first.

Mine came with it but have read on some posts others taken for $65+ for the cable. All depends I guess. Be sure you tell them what generation ipod you have as that makes a difference whether it's compatible or not (blue vs. black grommet).

ROFL. Your dealer will give you the cable. They should have installed it for you when you took delivery. Absolutely DO NOT let them charge you for it!
