audi rns-e sharkfin extension write up ?

im looking into buying a plug and play unit ..i kno the easiest way it to install the atnenna behind the cluster but i heard the sat reception is not so high ....the sharkfin sounds better but i dont see any write upps on how to run the extension in the car to the front unit ....i only found 3 picstures from navparts but thats it not to helpful anybody have anything useful ? is it useful or should i just go with the behind the cluster install ?
