WTF is up with the ER shrouds!?

I swear it seems I bought these things like a year ago hearing they'd be ready in a month or so then about 6 months later hearing that now they are pretty much ready again and everyone should be getting them in a month or so and still I haven't seen or heard s hit about them. Anyone else get theirs yet or hear wtf is going on? I'm thinking we should start getting a lynch mob together soon here, I don't even think these shrouds exist and our money just paid for those two pretty cf ones in their photos.

I was one of the first to order and got mine a couple weeks ago. They are just as described. I will wait for winter to end to install them. Here is a picture.

Apparently I was the first to get them. They are also sitting on my floor waiting to be installed, haha. Hopefully I'll have some time in the next month or so to install them, finish my meth injection install, get my twin 2 in and then get retuned.

I apologize for the delay. We have been shipping them out for awhile now as soon as a batch arrives.

We were suppose to get another batch before Christmas, however it didn't show up. Since this is the first week back from vacation for us, we're expecting shipment this week. I was told on Monday that we will be getting them today. We will see.

Don't worry, we won't do that. I understand everyone's frustration. Trust me, I am as frustrated with supply issues as you guys. Just like you guys don't like getting ETA's that are not met, we don't like it either.
It sucks even more now that the economy is down. I have no stock of stuff that sells and ironically, we're fully stocked on SMIC's now, for the first time since we've released them a few years ago.

Can we get some normal shrouds though? Maybe that would speed things up, just some fiberglass or plastic ones?

There really is no reason for them to be carbon fiber at all, you cant see them at alll..etc.

Fiberglass would be at the same time frame. They still use the same mold which is the only reason why they're taking so long. We only have 4 molds (molds are very expensive) and each mold makes a set a week.

Tooling for plastic injection would have been astronomical. The shrouds are very complicated. At most, we would only sell a few hundred sets of shrouds and would never make back anywhere close to tooling costs.

The only car I know that doesn't run the gilles are Wickeds car, (which that picture looks like their shop car) so you can't see them on my car or most cars. Well either way, Ill be in line soon. I didn't know fiberglass also took as long.
