    window chip/scratch problems?

    i bought the car brand new 3 weeks ago
    and im noticing tiny chip/scratches all over.. wtf..
    anyone having same problems? how are your front windshields?

    I don't think that should be happening... mine is clear and scratch-free. Glass should be hard enough to resist most scratching though... maybe there's some coating on top that you're scratching off?

    mine got scratched when i opened the window, i think there was a piece of sand stuck between the glass and rubber part. Not sure how i can buff it out, I've tried to clean with windex but no luck.

    I have lots of little marks on the windshiled but nothing on the side or rear...
    2.0 T Quattro - 20% tint,hardwired 9500i,alpine 757 amp,alpine 12" type r sub,RS4 Sway,Giac X-chip, VMR 19 710's wrapped in Conti Extreme DW, H&R Coilovers .

    Ive had mine for a year now... bought an '08 and my windows are fine... I had issues with my Acura though

    pictures will tell us alot... within 3 days i had a pretty decent stone pit on my windshield... nearly chased down that damn truck.

    My last A4 had that, like tiny rock chips everywhere on the windshield, drove me nuts. I'm curious to see if there is a fix short of a new windshield.

    I know my insurance company has an included program that will replace your window for free, once a year. no strings attached.
