So I'm going to be working the Presidential Inaugural....(NOTE TO ALL MAR)

...I have to be up at 0200 that day, attend the detail briefings and than go do my "protect the citizens" routine as well as do my "BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS" routine. 16-hours + OT equal tired grumpy me but at least the pay is good. =)

Anywho...if anyone here is going to be flying/driving/carpooling into the DC/VA/MD Metro-area and for those who live in my area (X), here are some road closures for you:

it is going to be an absolute sh*t show that day and the day before thank goodness its a federal holiday and I dont have to fight traffic to get downtown.

Thankfully for me, I'm off the 16th, 17th and maybe 18th (I think I might be on call that sunday)...party on!

Bars should be open till 4am during that entire week so I'll be doing/seeing a lot of DIP arrests.

Its on a 24 hour cycle...after you hit 12, instead of going to 1 it'll continue on to 13, 14, 15, 16 and so on. From that point, subtract 12 and BOOM you have whatever time it may be.

Ex. 1630; 1620-1200 = 4:20pm or 2345-1200 = 1145pm
