I have an OFE SS clutch and when I slowly engage the clutch is hear a hissing until I'm fully off the clutch pedal. I hear when I'm inching forward, no gas, just slowly letting the clutch out. Is this noise bad?

my clutch was making a bit of noise when the throwout bearing went bad. I think there is a plastic part between the throwout bearing and the pressure plate that can separate and then spin in place.

im not saying that is what this is... just a comment

yours sounds like its during the engagement, as if the clutch slip is actually audible. Did you get the pressure plate resurfaced when you did the clutch? You may want to search around for 'separating clutch' or something like that A couple of people got some OFE SS's that the organic side seperated from the rest of the clutch. In that case, I would imagine there would be some hissing/spinning noise

I had the option to get the flywheel resurfaced, but I didn't. I should probably have this looked at.
