So I'm coming back from Publix after grabbing a delicious sandwich. I pull up to the gate at my apartment complex to find a car sitting in front of the gate, not moving. The car sat there for a good minute or so before somebody came from inside the complex to open the gate and let the car in. The gate opens and the person begins to pull in. I hit my remote to hold the gate open for my car so it doesn't close on me. The person pulls in, all the way through the gate with me following and then STOPS while I'm about halfway through. I start honking to say, "hey, i'm back here and in the gate. Please do not stop." The person doesn't budge until the gate starts to close. By that time it was too late, and as I was getting the ass end of my car out of the way of the gate, it swiped the side of my car. Allegedly, this is my fault because I followed her in. But, who on earth, that could put a logical thought in their head, would do that. I'm still livid.
I was so angry. I've never seen anyone do that before. If this person pulled up another 6 feet it wouldn't of happened. Luckily, the damage is minimal. There are no dents. Just some scratches on the door molding, the bottom of the driver side rear QP, and the door blade. I'm hoping most of it can be buffed out, and the repair will be minimal.
I'll post some pics tomorrow.
