So i have a 2001.5 Imola s4, it is mostly stock i have a darintake mod, forge 007 DV.has 97XXX miles and maintenance is up to date, i do need to do the timing though.

well i am about to get about 1000 dollors and i would like to know what you think i should do with that money besides the timing.

i am looking to make it run good as a daily driver, not anything crazy.

Well since your not going to spend it on timing belt/water pump like you said. I would do suspension first. Coil-overs will do nothing but improve your cars looks, handling, possibly ride (but may just stiffin it). You might be able to find a good deal on a set of new or you could go used and then do piggies as well. Either way that should be your number 1 priority if its a daily driver other options are a tune and piggies custom exhaust but suspension first.

I agree. Coilovers big time. Stock the car outpowers the suspension. The brakes suck too. With your mileage I'd definitely do that stuff over a chip.

    Re: Need some advice

I vote for suspension... Fun upgrade, cosmetically makes the car not look like a 4x4... I have H&R coils myself looking to get into some Hsport sways soon because in the turns the car still handles like a fat girl !

lol nice image in my head now!!

Some of my boys back home work in a fab shop and are duplicating the hsport sways for me( or at least i hope they can) they are also making a mani for me.

SO i guess i will go for some coil i think.

i heard H&R cups are good what do you guys think about them, anyone have pics with them on?

If you do all the work yourself...

    T-belt job
    DTS
    Swaybars

That's about it unless you wanna throw springs in.
