Can anyone help me see if I have a boost leak?

I saw the McGuivered doo-hicky on A4mods.com and can make it myself but I don't have an air compressor as I live in a condo.

Is there anyone in OC who has done this and has it readily available?

Sorry for the run-on sentence. Let me clarify:

First: I want to check and see if I have a boost leak.

Second: I wanted to see if anyone had the "boost leak mod" and an air compressor so that I could check for the leak.

Ah I see, what exactly is the mod?

You could always find someone with a vag com and drive the car with it plugged in to see if your hitting the right boost numbers

Go buy a portable Monster Flow air compressor from pepboys for like $25 bucks. Does the trick.
